Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter will start their twentieth season in the NBA, with only five other players in the history of the League. Kariy Abdul-Jabar and Kobe Bryant have 20 seasons in their cards, while Robert Parris, Kevin Willis and Kevin Garnett hold the leadership in the rankings and have 21 seasons in the Association. Nowicki and Carter were elected to the Draft in 1998, and the German wing would stand next to Kobe as the only two players who spent 20 seasons in the same team. Since the beginning of his career Dirk has been playing only for Dallas Mavericks while Bryant has spent his entire professional career in the Los Angeles Lakers. Unlike Dirk, however, Carter will wear the team to a seventh different team, Sacramento, after going through Toronto, New Jersey, Orlando, Phoenix, Dallas and Memphis. In Maverix he spent three years as a teammate of the European legend. The new NBA season starts tonight.
