Birmingham City has appointed manager Gary Monk, reported by the club according footballcapper who plays in the second level of English football, The Championship. The 38-year-old Monk, the fifth manager in the team for the past 15 months, signed a contract for three and a half years. The specialist who is a former coach of Swansea City, Leeds and Middlesbrough replaces Steve Coterol`s dismissals. Birmingham made six consecutive losses in all tournaments, leading to the manager`s dismissal. The team ranks 18th in the Championship and is two points in the rescue zone.
