The leadership of the Greek Olympic champion Olympiacos dismissed senior coach Takis Lemonis. The news was announced on the official site of the club. Lemonis took the lead from Piraeus in September and led the team to the leadership position in the local championship, pointing more than AEK and PAOK. Meanwhile, Olympiacos had a poor performance in the Champions League, where they scored a draw and five losses with Barcelona, Juventus and Sporting (Lisbon).
This is the 4th Leonidis` dismissal of the Greek Grand Prix. In his previous standings he won four titles and a super-buy of the country. The 57-year-old has received a proposal to take another position in the club. His successor as a senior coach will most likely be Oscar Garcia.
