My body betrayed me. I went to the Browns vs. Jets game prediction by football livescore in December and thought I wouldn`t be able to get home from there. I persevered and continued to avoid doctors until the new year. At the hospital they gave me a massive blood transfusion and they kept asking me how are you still alive? How do you walk? Your hemoglobin level is very low, " Kozar said.
After attending the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February, Kozar, 60, was hospitalized for several days.
Bernie Kozar played for the Browns from 1985 to 1993 and left the club due to a conflict with head coach Bill Belichick. In 1993, the quarterback won the Super Bowl as a backup for the Dallas Cowboys. Kozar ended his career after 3 years of playing for the Miami Dolphins.
