Ferrari will test new products before the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
Since the beginning of the season, Ferrari has been preparing a major package of car updates, which, as the team expects, should help them significantly reduce the gap with Red Bull.
As a result, as part of the preparation, Ferrari decided to conduct impromptu tests.
Private testing during the season in Formula 1 has long been prohibited, but each team has the opportunity to conduct two filming days per season. During each such day, the team is allowed to drive no more than 200 km in a current car.
Ferrari will reportedly hold filming days on May 9 and 10 at its Fiorano track. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will test the updated version of the car ahead of the Imola stage.
